I gave it a chance. I really didn't like the way movement penalized you so harshly. You end up moving slowly so as to expend as little mass as possible, and I keep wanting to zip around and grab stuff.
Apparently, I like to relax at high speed.

Today's Steam deals are as follows:
Majesty 2 - $9.99
Cities XL Limited Edition - $24.99
Mini Ninjas - $14.99
Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic - $2.49
Madballs in Babo:Invasion - $2.00
Dead Space - $14.99
Left 4 Dead 2 - $37.49
KOTOR is $2.49 on steam today. I didn't particularly like what i played of it when it first came out but at that price i think i'll have to grab it.
EDIT: BEATEN TO THE PUNCH LOL
So for tomorrow or Sunday, I want deals on Mirror's Edge, Peggle Complete, Hitman Collection, and others I am forgetting.![]()
Honestly, go with the retail version of Mirror's Edge if you can. The Steam version doesn't work with the DLC at all and it's one of the better DLC packs around. Easily worth the money.
gamestop has Left 4 Dead 2 for 30 bucks and free shipping and since it uses steam you can just throw out the box and disc after registering your key. Of course good ol' NYC tax brings it up to 33 bucks for me but thats another option if you want that game. (edit: looks like its sold out at gamestop.com. you COULD go to the actual stores though <shudder>. It was an amazon lighting deal that lasted all of 15 minutes..lol..black friday fiends)
I may get Dead Space since I sold my 360 copy a couple of months ago and Madballs isn't awful for 2 bucks.

I absolutely forgot how bullshit, ludicrous and awesome that Metropolis level is in Serious Sam. Y'know, the one with the billion kleers coming at you. Insane
