Both of these mods make the game even more enjoyable than it already it.
I forgot what a bitch the end of level 3 is.
They throw endlessly spawning Aliens at you on your way out of the facility and make you unable to use the nightvision due to the corridor lighting.
Plus if you open the wrong door on your way out, you often find yourself (blindly) starting at a facehugger who will fuck your dome up in a split-second.
This part makes me feel like Newman in Jurassic Park.

Sega announced that Aliens vs Predator will use steamworks for achievements, cloud, matchmaking..etc. Wonder if this means I could get it on the cheap via retail box and use the cd-key so its immediately attached to my steam list forever. I'll have to wait and see how that works out.

I don't like the idea of having big games tied to single digital distribution platforms. I vastly prefer the way Impulse handles DRM and online requirements. I guess the only thing I can do is vote with my dollars and not buy games that do this.
It's also going to have dedicated servers.
And cost $10 less than the 360 game.
And be open to mods.
And offer a much higher level of graphic detail via DirectX11.
Rebellion does what Infinity Ward doesn't.
Amazingly, my 5-year-old machine actually passes minimum specs, but I'm sure it would run like shit, so I'll probably stick with the retard version and leave AvP Classic to the PC.
