Damn, that's some good shit you're smoking, Frog. That might actually make Rez good. I love Shenmue II, but it's not even in the top 10 sequels.

As in most improved sequels, I mean. Like best as a sequel. Though the game is easily in my top 10 overall anyway, so you could take it either way.
I liked the original, so the delta is not as impressive. Oh well.
I think it's an excellent sequel. It greatly expands the story, gives you way more places to go, eliminates the required time waiting many hated, etc.. I do think the original is superior in some ways(no town is as well developed as the first, and the mega battle at the end is better) but overall, it was the proper evolution a sequel should be. Like Frog, I would put it in my top 10 games of all time, too.
I really don't get TNL sometimes.
Rez is a great game if you like trippy shooters.
Shenmue is a great game if you like waiting in your dentists office for half an hour so he can do an extraction. Without novocaine.
Shenmue beats the piss out of Rez. You're the problem here, not TNL.
Rez is timeless because it was never good, so it won't matter how it ages.
