If people don't stand up against these conservo-redneck-religiotypes, they'll continue to manipulate our government until the USA is a christian taliban-ran government.

My new hero. One of them has hoped to be a quarterback and now he will turn out gay.
one with stupid people? yeah, I live in America.
or do you mean one where people think the big bad liberal government is out to take their god away? yeah, we have people like that in Mississippi.
I talk to stupid people everyday. Ok, maybe stupid is a strong word; foolish or overly emotional are more fitting. Just yesterday someone said that school uniforms were bad because they brain wash kids but...braining washing kids with Christianity is ok. Why? Because that is how they felt. Oh, and then there is the one where global worming isn't a problem because god wont let us destroy the earth. yeah....
Anyway, I do understand why some people feel that separation of church and state doesn't protect their religion. It is really simple; they are being forced to change. Areas that have been 100% Christian since their founding have taken certain liberties, like putting the Ten Commandments in their court houses or having religious meetings in the school cafeteria. They have done these things for a long time and probably give no thought to how or why they might go against the founding principles of our nation.
Then someone trots in and tells them, hey, you've gotta stop doing this retarded thing that you've been doing since forever. Something they have always had, is taken away. Their religion is weekend by removing it from highest position it can hold and limiting it. So, from that perspective I can see how they feel like they aren't being protected. They feel that their cultural footprint is being weekend.
Also, Christians are not adapting to what technology is doing to the world. The media is all in your face now. Just 50 years ago it was easy for one town to ignore what another town thought about them. Now Christians in Alabama have to deal with what people in California and New York think. If you go into these times of ours with an old fashioned 60s or 70s perspective, it probably does feel like you are being attacked from all sides.
I don’t really feel that one part of the country is smarter than the other however. I think southern Christians are stupid for telling the rest of the country what to do about gay people, the war, etc. And I think gun banners up north are stupid asses. Each state is full of stupid people. You just don’t notice it because each one is stupid in their own way.

Give the FCC something like rule 11. In court, if a lawyer for either side abuses the process the court can sanction or even fine the idiot.
Get rid of those assholes with nothing better to do than bitch like that.

Basicly a judge's way of saying, "Quit wasting everyone's time."
