Oh god damn it. I meant MM coming out before 3S. At least it did on Dreamcast, not that it matters too much. Oh well.

And yes I misspoke about RE4 - I did try it for about 5 minutes from the woman's copy. Confimred that it has the same control that I don't like and that was enough for me.

I thought I gave the series a fair shake back when the first one came out and the popularity was just building up. It would seem like a surefire hit to me; a Capcom game that everyone loves and me being there in 1995 or whatever to try it out for the first time. A game everyone's praising from a company I adore - what could go wrong?

Well, plenty, as I came to find out. One life of playtime was enough for me then, and is enough for me now.

At this point I have to concede that it's just preference for me. I just cannot suspend enough disbelief to buy into playing as a character who is supposed to be proficient in guns and is controlled in that manner. It just makes me completely infuriated when I try to play it.

Don't know if Grasshopper counts as Capcom, but here's what Magic Box reports:
Grasshopper, developer of Killer 7, revealed that the company is working on 3 new titles for Wii, one of which is No More Heroes.

Blog rumors are not facts. There has been no proof that Capcom USA owns the rights to SF.
Wrong. Capcom USA owns Street Fighter. Look at any of the copyrights on recent printed material. Hell, look at the following link to the Epic Battles TCG website. Read the copyright about Street Fighter:
