I rented red steel to give it a try also. Its not as bad as you all make it out to be, if you stick with it and unlock some of the abilities, training area and other missions. The cinema's are butt ugly though.

Red Steel is great, as long as you don't mind learning to play a FPS with a 3d mouse.
