The 360 hard drives are smaller laptop drives which is what makes them so expensive. It's also the stupidest fucking move they've ever made because no one gives a shit about the physical dimensions of their hard drive. No one would give a shit if they put out a standard size, fairly priced external hard drive that you attached like the HD-DVD player.

$480 is LOL @ Microsoft.

Even that doesn't come close to excusing the price though. 120GB laptop hard drives retail for like $80, and MS isn't paying anywhere near that.

That kicks so much ass from a sit on the sidelines and laugh perspective. No one wants to win this generation. Microsoft should be nearing 15M or more units, but they're not close, and Nintendo has no staying power. Sony is going to win by default for the third straight time. Fuck.

9 gigs. I have every XBLA game and pretty much every piece of in game content, including free stuff for games I don't even own (Madden/NCAA jerseys worth a few 100 MB). I dunno what you guys are doing. As far as the price goes, it sucks and it's stupid. MS could take over this generation (it's most certainly not in the bag), but they are bound by their retarded shareholders who don't care about games.

I have 12 Xbox Live Arcade games, game save files for 11 games, and 16 trailers, but I only have 7 GB left in my 360 HDD. It's not that much stuff, so I don't know where all the memory went.

I've got about a dozen XBLA games, saves for at least 12 regular games, a couple demos, the South Park episode, and about a dozen trailers from X06 and TGS06. 9gb left.
