Thread: Richard Jeni shoots self in face

  1. I totally thought Haoh was older than 18.

  2. Richard Jeni's A Big Steaming Pile Of Me was really funny.

  3. I had no idea Haoh was 18.

    Fuck.
I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me.

  4. Another comic, Brett Clawson, killed himself a few weeks back, too. His death was considerably more awesome, and should become a TV movie. It involved a drunken high-speed car chase with the police, getting cornered on a bridge and jumping. THAT is how to kill yourself right. Of course he wasn't particularly famous, so no one heard about it.

  5. Good Catholic Boy was hilarious. He'll be missed.

  6. I have to side with Hoah on this one. Yeah the world may suck sometimes but there are pleasures on this world, Worst case, go out with your pleasures, because you don't know what truly lies on the other side, there could be nothing good about it at all.

So regardless of how the world gets, there's always something pleasurable to take part in. You'll die eventually, to be in a hurry to do it is stupid.

Jim Carrey got his start as a comic, just like most people that play comedic roles. Who do you think came up with Fire Marshall Bill?

  8. Oh yeah, I totally forgot about In Living Color.
    Boo, Hiss.

Jim Carrey was completely irrelevant as a comic, though. He worked for free and did open mics and he bailed the first second someone paid him to act. Real comics keep doing it. Being on stage IS what it's all about.

  10. This is sort of ironic because Jeni's whole appeal was that he was a sensible normal guy compared to other comics.
