Thread: PSP God of War: Chains of Olympus

  1. I got mine yesterday... finally and I have to say I was quite impressed that they fit that game in there. Tho the graphics did seem like they were pretty jaggy maybe they'll smooth them out for the final release.

    I'm stuck above in the throne room where you need to pull
    blocks out and I'm locked in. Any ideas?.

  3. Pull the blocks out then run around the left side of them, You'll find that that side is hollow.

  7. well, many other big names on PSP like Silent Hill or Syphon Filter did, so I am sure Sony wont miss the opportunity here.

  8. Not according to this from the Ready at Dawn site:

    "Moving forward, we can confirm that Chains of Olympus will be our last PSP game as we’re moving on to other projects and other ideas on other consoles. We can also confirm that this will be our first and last God of War game as, just like Daxter before it, there will NOT be a PS2 port of the game. We like our games PSP exclusives."

    I just finished this now and thought it was a blast. Though, I've never been fond of the PSP's extremely awkward joystick/nub, you get used to it after a while.

    Combats the same as it's always been, with the exception of the Gauntlet of Zeus, a huge, golden armlet fist thing Kratos gets to swing around and charge with blue lightning. It's pretty wicked and unlike that lance in God of War 2, I found myself actually using the secondary weapons offered at hand. The Gauntlet was actually more useful than the Blades of Chaos for one or two fights.

    Graphics looked great and they look pretty much the same as they did on the PS2 versions, just a little grainy.

    Everything seems to have fell into place perfectly with this game. Ready at Dawn makes some killer games. Is anyone else playing this?

  10. I'm not holding my breath this will stay on psp, no matter what the developers say. And if it does, drop to twenty soon pls.
