Is Motorstorm actually that good?

I love off-road racers and I thinks it's awesome. I would like more tracks but what's there is pretty good.

It looks like a kinda nice looking racing game whose visuals will be soon be old and eclipsed by the next racer of the moment 6 months from now.

Confirmed. Maybe it's the new or something, but I'm in love with my PS3 right now. Even at $600 I'm happier with this purchase than I have been with my last several console purchases.
