Real Muay Thai is pretty ugly, but no less brutal. My roommate and I used to go to a Muay Thai gym here and though there were no Tiger Uppercuts or crazy Tony Jaa shit, but training there was an absolutely awesome time. When the weather is better and I can run without dying, I should go back. The instructors were awesome.
Yeah, Muay Thai is all about incapacitating your opponent, in whatever way possible. It's nuts.

Tony Jaa is a great addition to the martial arts film world. Muay Thai is an excellent style. Out of curiosity Grave, where did you go train before? Since you are in Boston my first thought would be Somerville at Sityodtong.
