I've had it for less than a day, but I had zero problems. The EGM douchebags are probably 22 year-olds that don't remember what the hell a real arcade was. Fuck them and their opinions on what is worth $90, especially when a lot of us paid $50.

New issue of EGM totally trashed this game. 3.5, 4.0, 3.5 DAMN!
Kinda made is sound like the gun doesnt calibrate that well. Also seemed to kind of shit on it because of the $90 price tag.

If they're going to penalize for price, EGM's scoring should be accompanied with a caveat in the form of alternate scores. 1 point for each $10 increment the game falls under $90. Those who got the game for $50 got a damn good game, as did I for $80.

The gun calibrates well. I did not have a problem with Ghost Squad using the Wii Zapper, but the Guncon3 may be advantageous because there are two sensors versus one, and they are positioned on the top right and top left corner rather than wherever you may have your Wii sensor set. I'm not sure if the wireless versus USB has any effect on a potential difference.

I find Guncon 3 to be reasonably accurate playing about 7-8 ft (cord limitation, bah) from my 52" TV. I say reasonably because I was missing some shots I feel that I should have hit. I recalibrate a few times (the 5 point calibration) and it was about the same. I will play more though to make sure since I tend to tilt the guncon 3 because of the left hand.

It didn't take me very long to get the GunCon 3 working just fine. After a little tinkering with the LED marker positions, I started kicking some ass- I had started with the markers at the extreme edges of my 4:3 35" TV, and just had to move them 4 inches or so inward to get great results. It is obvious, EGM's sorry excuses for reviewers are light gun illiterate.

They need to keep in mind that it's $60 for the game and $30 for the Guncon 3- if you even have to pay that amount when you get it. I paid $80 and have no regrets.
