Thread: PS2 Drakan: anyone love/hate it? Hell...anyone playing it?

  1. Well, I still need to pick this game up too. I played the demo a while ago, and liked it

There is definately something about riding Dragons

  2. ...not to mention most places have this game for $29.99...

  3. I finally freaking got it! So far it's a kickass game that the demo shows you although riding the dragon in that demo is a cocktease.

This game is hella LONG, my only gripe is when you die you have to start from your save point and it REALLY sucks when you forget to save after doing a long list of objectives. This game is freaking gorgeous especially with all the awesome lighting and I didn't notice any jaggies at all. Looks like a deeper game since you can assign mana points to certain parts of Rynn like melee, magic, and such.

This game is a real bargain for 30 and I would pay 50 if need be. If you have a PS2 and liked games like Draconus or Zelda OOT/Majora I think you'll like this.

  4. Well, Its definately on my list of things to get. All I need now, is some money

  5. Heheh, man this game rules. I suggest reading these reviews I totally agree with them both.

  7. Is this Will's new goal, to make more people notice this game. Like he did with Heavy Metal

  8. Is this Will's new goal, to make more people notice this game. Like he did with Heavy Metal
HAHAHAHAH! Yeah I think this will be my new quest, plus anybody who has a DC NEEDS Heavy Metal!

  9. *bizzump*

BTW check out the site of the developer they have kickass artwork with excellent screens.

  10. Man this game just keeps getting better. I get into this tomb where these dead monks are revived and in this one part you go into a tomb where the flames lighting the room go out and the creepy glow of skeleton eyes is all you see rising from the tombs, meanwhile you have to fight them in the dark. This sort of reminded me of the Jason and the Argonauts movie.

    How fucking cool is that?
