Thread: Dragoneer's Aria

  1. Dragoneer's Aria

    Gamespot first look

That preview doesn't say much about it, but the reason this is one to watch is that, according to the video interview they posted the other day, it's gonna be probably the first JRPG to place a heavy emphasis on character customization, with not only abilities and stats but even the characters' personalities changing according to the player's actions. It'll be interesting to see where this goes.

Japan will explode if they play an rpg that isn't totally linear.

SaGa games aren't part of the roleplaying genre, they're part of the Satan pressed onto a disc genre.

Finch is right. Unless he doesn't like SaGa Frontier, in which case he is WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG.

SaGa Frontier is probably the most underrated PS1 RPG.

  8. The SaGa games are definitive answer to what terrible plays like.

Valkyrie Profile was a non-linear J-RPG. Let's use that example instead.

I'm gonna have to AWTP. And yet I can't stop wanting to like them. I still need to get Romancing.

  10. Playing Romancing SaGa right now and it's excellent.
