The space combat does look like Star Fox.
Yay. i knew you could be a Zabrak. And the Miraluka chick from KoTor 2 was one of my fave crew members.

As much as I liked galaxies at the start, and as much as I like star wars, I can't get into the tech/art designs they are using for this game. It's actually really annoying.
look here, upon a sig graveyard.
Holy Shit! We finally get to find out what happened to Revan!

They need to make it recruitable.
Originally saw this on GAF, but thought there would be some who missed this.
This comes from an anonymous blog from an EA developer who worked on the Warhammer MMO who is going to be fired. He is spilling the beans about the way that the game was handled and other such goings on. But there was one fairly interesting part in his post:
You can read the entire post here. And Bioware? Don’t make me laugh. They’ve spent more money making the Old Republic than James Cameron spent on Avatar. Shit you not. More than $ 300 million! Can you believe that?
And you know what they’re most proud of? This is the kicker. They are most proud of the sound. No seriously. Something like a 20Gig installation, and most of it is voiceover work. That’s the best they have. The rest of the game is a joke. EA knows it and so does George Lucas, they’re panicking , and so most of Mythic has already been cannibalized to work in Austin on it because they can’t keep pushing back launch.
Old Republic will be one of the greatest failures in the history of MMOs from EA. Probably at the level of the Sims Online. We all know it too ……
Look down at the comments to find a slight rebuttal (and agreement, though in a more civilized manner) from someone else claiming to be in a similar position:That said, sound design is too often over-looked and not given the attention it deserves. I'd be a rich man if I had a dollar for every game that had even just shitty balancing. Regardless of the quality of the rest of the game, it's kind of nice to know that at least one major title is happier over the way their game sounds than the way it looks.Originally Posted by kno wan
I could not care less what someone who is rightfully going to be fired for his part in Warhammer Online thinks about anything. Hell, the sound part isn't even surprising. Since day one, the story has been the focus, and having that completely voice acted was a hugely key feature. Why would BioWare not be most proud of the games biggest differentiator?
Full sound in an MMO is like tits on a bull
