Thread: NES problem

Okay, I like the Game Genie idea but I don't understand how it could work. If my NES consoles can't detect games how can they detect a Game Genie?

I clean every game that touches my system. It's not that RCR doesn't work at all, it just takes a LOT of time to get it to work, whereas every other cart I own will work every time. It's already gone though, replaced with a working copy I bought at Goodwill for 2 bucks.

  3. I've fixed 3 different systems by bending the pins upward.

Make sure you give everything a good cleaning too.

  4. Yea, this works too.....http://home.centurytel.net/wcp/nes/

I did it and I got an NES that has not worked in years to work. Just dont be easy with the toothbrush, ya gotta brush it like hell to get the shite off.

I got to try the moveing the pins method too.

  5. Anyone else try the Gamegenie approach? Would be cool if it works (and I can find one).

    Me, it does, and funcoland.

Without it, my copy of Goonies II is pretty much usless.

  8. I've always used the system cleaning kits, that Funcoland sold. My NES power light would flash, and a lot of games just would'nt work. I used the system cleaning kit, and the problem went away.
