I'm going to laugh my balls off if the Red Sox lose the division.
And Rich, more like WTF at the Diamondbacks, in general.
And Brandon Webb hasn't given up a run in 33 innings.
What the fuck. His last run given up was July 20, five starts ago.

I'd put it at 50/50 for the Yanks taking the division right now.
I'm biting all my nails off thanks to Mo right now.
Think Red Sox Nation is worried about the Yanks being only 4 games back?? They better be with the way they are hitting. To think they were 14.5 games back at one point this season. Pretty amazing what the Yanks are doing. They should be careful with Chamberlain. Good stuff on that kid but we know Joe Torre can go nuts when he has a fav guy to use. They can't overwork the kid. He was drafted a year or so ago right?
I think Phil Hughes will be tremendous down the stretch. He was outstanding against the Indians the other day.
As for my Mets they are playing like utter shit. Lifeless, listless and downright embarrassing baseball. The garbage bin (bullpen) has been just that..garbage. Perez and Maine have crashed down to earth big time and the injuries continue to pile up with LoDuca on the DL and now backup catcher Castro may need time off (back pain..ouch). The team has none of the fire of last year's team and I wouldn't be surprised at all if they didn't win the division with their lackluster play.
Willie Randolph is a horrid in-game manager and even the announcers question his moves (for those that don't know the Mets announce team has two former major leaguers in Ron Darling and Keith Hernandez doing color/analyst work) now more than ever. Also, some of the players either don't talk or will not talk to the media after games (LoDuca, Delgado..etc) and in today's game it was said by the play by play man (Gary Cohen) that some players (who were unnamed) left during some games when their day was done. Unacceptable. Willie could be losing some of his players.
They still hang on to first place but thats really because the rest of the NL is trash but that could change soon (not the NL is trash part :P ).
...so...how 'bout those Diamondbacks? The Dodgers are collapsing big time.

They have a rule where if he pitches 1 inning, they won't use him the day after. If he pitches 2 innings, they won't use him the next 2 days.
Normally I'd be like LOL yeah right, but today we really needed him in there in the 8th but he pitches 2 innings Friday and Torree wouldn't bring him in.
I'm so excited about all the young talent flooding into the Yankees right now. I haven't been this excited for a Yankee team since the dynasty.
Gagne implodes yet again, coughing up a 2-run lead in the 8th. He's no Joba...
Robbie Cano is hitting .427 over his last 120 at-bats. Sick.
BTN. I was never ready to write those fuckers off -- not even when we were 14 games up. They're the Yankees, and they're not going away. The way they've been hitting as of late scares me.
Gagne has been diarrhea shit. Be prepared to be booed in your own ballpark this series, asshole. I still like the trade, though.
