Now i got it back, and severs went to shit lols. figures.

question - do you have to create characters in multiplayer to use them online, or you can also use ones from single play?

You have to make one for online. Single player ones can't be transferred over.

Heh seems I got lucky with getting to play before things went to shit. I'll be on during the day again. Damn work is busy as hell, so I'm sleeping when yall are meeting up. I do got some goodies to give away though.

I'm not sure, I think they failed at getting the stuff they wanted out in time.

But if we all hop on around 5 that gives us a solid 3 or so hours to play this.

They did. The Halloween content was supposed to be suscriber only. Since that mechanism was broken, they tried to open it up to everybody. As we all know, that didn't go so well.
