My board wide apology about frame rate...

Well! I'll be! I'm dead freaking wrong! I got my information from a medical journal I recieved from my mother. I must admit it is rather old. However, after JefmcC asked for a link, I sought to prove to you guys wrong by supplying the information, and this is what I came up with. It's an excelent read, and not just because you guys get to gloat about my misplaced and dead wrong righteous indignation. And it applies to the topic at hand! Hey, Sidez! They even use your QIII example! So, I did behave a bit like an asshole who knows everything on the face of the Earth...so I'm sorry. I was wrong.

Let the Capt. V bashing commence!!!

P.S. This article suggests we get rid of frames all together. Another good read.

Well, I absolutely hate being wrong...and I wasn't wrong exactly, as the article states, it was believed for a time that we could only see at 30fps. The medical journal I used said 60fps.

But what I hate even more is not admitting when I am wrong. I am constantly searching for truth, and if that means believing something other than what I already do, or saying I'm wrong, then I can handle it.

Yeah, I was going to post on that whole frame rate thing in there, but then I saw this thread and just wanted to say yeah, it's very rare that you'll find someone on a message board admit they're wrong, so I highly respect when someone does. =)

Good show on admitting you were wrong though. There are a lot of people on this board who could learn a thing or two from your example.
