That's a perfectly acceptable thing to talk about. Calling it "blacker" is racist, but talking about it isn't. You can talk about a guy being "thuggish" or "gangster" or even "frightening to white America." That's not racist. There may be a racial element to it, and it may be in some way tied to stereotypes, but it's also a real thing that you can talk about, and black people talk about it too.

Well, I'd like to know what he said. No one important needs to be commenting on this horseshit. You want to make a statement about race relations, talk about Jackie's 60th coming up, not this shit.

I'd ramble on but I agree with what hao and frog have said 100%.
Someone should organize a boycott against the sponsors that dropped Imus. This is a two sided thing, and one side takes all the action and has all the power, and they're behaving like bullies.
Shifting gears a bit, I just saw this. It's amazing how the doctor is so indignant and self righteous, and yet he has to go say something far more racially degrading to Patrice than what was said about the Rutgers women.
Watch how this snowballs right into the hip hop industry. This has started a total shit storm that is just unreal.
Conspiracy by Fox News to destroy hip hop!
