TNL doesn't exist in a bubble, and claiming those images have no context is pure ignorance. Tell that to a friend or relative of someone who lost their life to Josh's new hero.

Some of those folks might wander here. Is this the image of TNL that Nick and the mods want to promote?

Right, but he's not making a commentary on it, he's not mocking the dead people. It's just a picture of the guy that did it. The way it's presented in his sig has no context that would add any particular meaning to it that would be offensive.

Probably not, but Nick's also a guy who wants clear cut and fairly applied rules, and I'm not just going to bust heads because it rubs you the wrong way.

Anyway, I'm happy to discuss this as a moderation issue in PMs, but I don't want to hear any more in this thread.
