My roommate was gonna kill me after AFO came out.
Ya see, I always play late at night and he;s a light sleeper. So, I'd say something stupid, or loud, or whatever, and he'd have to hear it TWICE.
... i sure hope MS can do the voice-chat thing right... because every single game i've ever played that has tried to implement it has been terrible for actual "chatting"...(ie: AFO/Counter-Strike) although it did work very well for issueing commands in Counter-Strike...
... but damn that AFO mic was a disaster...
i actually prefer using a Keyboard... with Voice chat, the quality is almost always terrible, and it's hard to differentiate between players...
... but anyways, if there's a company that's got the money to pull of a good voice-chat system, it's MS...
You could play the Japanese version of PSO online in the US. It was kind of a pain in the ass, though. I imported ver. 2 and played it online. We'll have to wait for the game to be released to see if the GC version can be played online here.Originally posted by Lucas Barton
i don't know if you were able to do this with the Dreamcast import versions of PSO, but do you guys think you'll be able to go online with an import version of PSO Episode 1&2? i can't wait to get my hands on PSO Episode 1&2 anymore so if i can play it online in August, that'll be awesome.
Sadly, that peripheral (the combination keyboard/controller) from ASCII was actually cancelled a while back. I was really depressed when I heard that. Coolest controller deisgn ever.I just remembered the keyboard is that combination keyboard/controller, so that's probably why it is so much. And $60 is for the import version. I'm guessing $39.95 when it is released in America.

so that must of been Nintendo's keyboard/controller i was playing PSO with at E3. must also be Nintendo's controller that has a price for japan already too then.Originally posted by Rick

PSO looks like it will be fun, but I will wait for X Box version regardless of smell or color

Then you might as well buy ver.2 on the DC right now and save yourself the wait...Originally posted by Doug Branches

So long as there is one I care not who its by, so long as the beast exists. So how does that monstrous looking thing feel in the hands? Does it feel good over your lap?

ive seen plenty of movies for this one....and im not excited. they dont look different from v2 for the DC. what the hell have they been spending all this time on?
Sonic Team have been very lazy with this one I agree, disk 1 is pretty useless because seriously, who the hell wants to play Forest again? Some of the tweaks to the gameplay seem ok but the 3 hit combo thing is about as deep as the PSO gameplay gets. The beach level does look gorgeous though.
