I forget, is it possibly to skip right to disc 2 ir do you have to build up from disc 1?

  2. You can start from Version 2.

the controller itself feels indentical to a first party controller. identical. the keyboard part is the same as a laptop keyboard.

over all the controller is smaller then you would expect.

your blind and there's no way you can argue other wise.

i thought the game was called PSO Episode 1&2, not PSO Disc 1&2.

i believe the game is gonna be one disc, but im not sure.

  4. No, it's on 2 disks with an episode on each one.

    link please

  6. Can't find anything right now but i'm fairly sure it's on 2 disks. Please someone prove me wrong, multiple disks are a real pain.

Anyway, who is importing this? I think i'll take the plunge although i'll give the keyboard a miss due to the $60 price tag...

  7. hmm, you're fairly sure it's on 2 disks huh? Kinda like that deal with RE on 2 disks as well when I got to the lab and I had to "get up" to continue the game. (blah )

I think for a mini-dvd, it'll have more memory then the DC disks had, so I'm hoping it'll stay on 1 disk. Then again, I don't want to play the forest either! (is that what you're hoping for?)
don't wanna tangle with you, I'd rather tangle with him.
I think I'm gonna bash his head in...

  8. First, isn't PSO ep1&2 NOT just ver. 1 and 2 rehashed? Didn't Naka say that Ep2 would actually have some story that was different from the DC version?

Second, I used the ASCii keyboard/controller, and it is not as large as you would think. It's easy to use for fights, and easy to type with.

Finally, knock it the hell off with stupid multi-disk complaints. It's such a small and trifle thing to bitch about.

no shit no one complained about it in the PSX days suddenly everyone is too good for multiple disks

and yes its not just straight up EP1 n 2 it has a whole shit load more added

  10. I gotta agree with the schlong on this one. There is nothing that makes me want to play this game again. The graphics look no different than the DC version. The sounds and music are EXACTLY the same (bleh).

New enemies? Bah. Same enemies, different skins, same lame ass A.I. attack patterns.

New weapons? Oooo....look they actually bothered to make the rare ones look different.....ahhhhh

New Stages? Feh, more of the same in a different package. I'd be bored of them in matter of weeks.

New characters? Um..yeah whatever. Three new characters with no real, distictive, or remotely important differences from any of the other classes.

    New gamplay? HAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! 1,2,3...1,2,3...1,2,3...ad nauseum.

Those are just the reasons why I won't be buying it. The pay to play thing is just a periphral annoyance that is easily ignored as long as the game is fun and for me PSO 1&2 most certainly will not be.

For die-hard fans like Lucas Barton and PSO virgins this game most certainly will be a blast. But for the burn-outs like me, it'll take more than what Sega's offering to get me back on board. No fundamental changes to gameplay = a whole year of development time wasted IMO.

And no, I don't see playing Nights on my GBA as good enough reason enough to buy PSO.

    *loads shotgun*

THAT'S RIGHT! I SAID NIGHTS ISN'T GOOD ENOUGH! NOW BACK OFF MAN!!
