Great idea but two huge things are missing:

*Some way to control dynamics... perhaps left side of screen = quiet and right = loud?

*Why only one string? If they gave you six you could do picking.

They wanted to leave room for a sequel? Just kidding, the amount of strings would be great. Letting you arpeggiate the chords would add a ton to it. As for the loud/quiet comment I believe the video titled "DS Guitar "M-06" Overview" on the YouTube link has an explanation of the product and I think I remember hearing the person say you could do just that.
