So I went and saw this on a whim last night. While the first half of the movie was alright, the second half almost plays out a superhero flick because you know nothing is going to happen to Nic Cage, I mean how can it? The dude can see the future and all possible scenarios!

It's a good rental flick plus Jessica Biel is hot (I'd also hit Julianne Moore)

  2. I have no idea why people cast Nicolas Cage in so many movies, particularly action movies. My idea of a hero is not a droopy faced balding man in his mid to late 30s. Why did you even bother going to see this? There was no possible way it was going to be good.

  3. A bunch of friends were going and it was the only thing playing that late. I would have rather of seen Hot Fuzz

  4. This looked like it could be up to par with Paycheck or something as far as PKD adaptations go. Which is to say, watchable, entertaining, but inessential.

  5. I saw Hot Fuzz this weekend. It was really good.

  6. I'd say you should post about that in the Hot Fuzz thread, but no one really gives a shit there, either.

IAWTP. I'm surprised they don't cast the chick who plays Debby Downer on SNL as the female lead every time to go with him.

The dude's actually 43, but looks way older IMO.

I feel sorry for Jessica Biel, having to have sex scenes with that guy. Poor girl.

That pretty much sums it up.
