A movie this badass needs its own thread. I'm watching it right now but it's on AMC, so it's heavily edited. If I could find a DVD version that wasn't full screen, it'd be mine already. Definitely one of Arnie's best films.

So yeah, Commando rocks. Anyone ever take a full body count in this one? I heard it was somewhere around 55.

LOL, I kept laughing at all the errors and convenient situations it had.

My favorite is when Matrix and Cindy are chasing chasing Sully, and he rams a light pole head-on, with no seatbelt or anything. He and Cindy then get out, completely unscathed.

Or when he detonates the charges around the barraks of Arius' men. You can tell so clearly that the soldiers standing in front of the explosion are mock ups.

Hey, everyone knows how I feel about Arnold, and Commando is the single greatest achievement of the human race and THE most bad-ass movie ever made. Anyone who says different is a child-molesting homosexual communist. Everyone should thank Mr. Schwarzenegger for giving us the greatest gift since the good Lord himself gave us his only son. Greater, even.

The tool shed scene (AXE TO THE BALLS!!) and the mall fight with the cops are the two best scenes in a movie with millions of great scenes. Oh, and the cliff scene with Sully. And the fight with Bennett...shit, I could go on and on...

I have the widescreen DVD- it's the only version available as far as I know. I see DVD everywhere I go for $10. It's pretty common.

I actually sat there and counted each death- I think it was somewhere around 85.

That's a lot of people for one man to kill in 90 minutes.

Holy crap, that original thread is from almost four years ago.

And Commando's just as bad-ass now as it was then. Melf, I think I watched that same AMC broadcast.

Friend of mine caught this on KMEX and said the translation was AWFUL.
