I'll should have it in 2 weeks if not less. Maybe I'll start a new thread in the Artist block with some pics once I tinker with it. Time to find a 4GB Compact Flash for a good price. Cheapest I've seen is $30 after rebate.

Just as I was posting this, I get an email from my uncle. No scratch on the LCD protector...just a smudge. I should get this hopefully this week once my aunt gets back home and goes to UPS to drop it off.

  2. Just as a warning bandit, I'm not a big fan of high capacity compact flash cards. They're rather susceptible to damage by squishing, and then you'll lose everything on there. It's a lot safer to just have a few low capacity cards so that if something does fail (and they do that over time periodically, and it WILL be frustrated) you won't lose as much. If you leave a card with 4 GB worth of pictures (several hundred on the nicest settings) you're going to be awfully upset.

    Just a preference.

Point taken. Sometimes depending what the pictures are, I transfer them onto my PC. Maybe I'll just stick with the 1GB Sandisk Ultra hes giving for now.

  5. Got this for 15 dollars used at Record Exchange.

In addition, I spent 30 bucks at Slam Jams (a bar in Solon) and bought a buzz.

  6. I picked up a Camcorder a couple of weeks ago, a Sony DCR-HC21

and today I went and got a firewire cable and a tripod for it.

Holy crap. I just went to find a picture, I got it for less than half the retail price.
