That debate was utter trash judging from that short clip - we all know Kirky boy and his pal are idiots, but so were the representatives from the other side. How about getting someone intelligent onboard to debate such as Richard Dawkins, or Victor Stenger? A few folks who can sound intelligent and debate without reading from a sheet of paper and using ridiculous examples to make their point.

Having said that, yeah it looks like based on the premise of the debate, which was for Cameron and Comfort to prove God's existence without mentioning the bible or faith - they got totally owned, still - its not like thats an accomplishment.

This was essentially a debate between both sides second stringers; The Rational Response Squad vs. The Way of the Master. Yet, even then, you got pretty much the same set of arguments you'd get from any showdown on this topic, though not as articulately laid out.

Even if it was, what artist just paints one thing and then quits to obsess over that one work for the rest of their days (Edvard Munch notwithstanding)? If they're gonna use the "God as an artist" angle, go full out. Religious folk largely don't believe in intelligent life elsewhere in the universe, but if anything had the power to create worlds and life in a single pass, I seriously doubt it would just say "Hey, this is good enough, I'm done" at Earth.

(edit) I should note that they're talking here about whether Christianity (and by extension, religion) is good for the world. Not necessarily whether a supernatural being exists.
