Thread: Nintendo Wavebird magazine ad: brilliant

  1. Whats really scary is that are those of you out there right now that are planning on buying one of these things, simply because you feel that you have to.
    Quit blaming the controller.

i still dont understand why people got fussy about that one. makes me sick actually. but my point was just that.....i dunno. people in america tend to bitch more about ads, yet we're the first to cry FREE SPEECH! all the other country's get cool ads. so is this in a US mag?

So is a hard drive in a console.

It's using very old technology. It's not doing ANYthing better than the standard controller. Therefore, it is not a upgrade.
So was analog control. It came out awhile before Microsoft and Sony and Sega bit off Nintendo's idea.

Yea, you wouldn't have wasted money on batteries constantly.
Wasted money? I used up $3 on one set of batteries and I used my Rumble Pak for 2 years (at least). Space Channel 5 is about the same price as that right now. Have you ever used the Rumble Pak?

Awesome. I hope you get your milk delivered on time tomorrow morning. Oh sorry, fresh milk won't be for another 30 years for you. Life on the farm is tough.

The RF transmitter inside the Wavebird eats battery juice pretty fast, so the rumble thing would just make the problem of running out of battery life even worse.
    Quit blaming the controller.

"Having to" is very generic. If by "having to" means that you need to try out the latest gizmo, then yes, that's why I'm getting one. Heck it worked for the rumble pak...

From what I've heard from IGN, it's 100 hrs for 2 AA batteries. I have rechargeables and I already deal with that hassle with my digital camera (only it eats ups 4 AA batteries in 5 hours).
