Thread: I have a great idea

  1. I have a great idea

Hey lets release guides for a game months after the game came out that way NO ONE cares about the guides any more

    i mean come on

Arc the lad 1 and 2 book comes out like either middle or end of july the other book isnt coming till august freaking august

can WD get ANYTHING out on time i mean seriously its almost pathetic

did i say almost i meant completely and totally (thanks go to simon for that one)

  2. the problem is, Working Designs is treating the strategy guides like collectibles, just as they do with the games, instead of getting it out there. If they really feel this is necessary, they might as well hold the game back until the guide is done, its not like people will care about the extra wait that they've come to expect with every WD game.

  3. i jsut think its stupid honestly if it came out when the game did im sure it would have sold quite a few copies (it seems most sales of guides is when a game just comes out (kinda obvious) as opposed to releasing it months after its come out when most peopel ahve beat the game and the only one who really will buy this guide are the uber die hards

    its just not good buisness

honestly there are times when im amazed how some companies stay in buisness

  4. It is a poor decision, on their part, but the hardbound guides for Lunar, Lunar 2, and Vangaurd Bandits did'nt sell too well. I picked up all of them for $7 each, from Gamestop.

  5. those guides sold out, I thought. . . I'm pretty sure. at least, I've seen the Lunar 2 guide sell for over $50.

that could be more they are hard to find in most areas cause they didnt make many but probably didnt initally sell

its like ive heard stories of some targets selling Paper Mario for like 6 bucks or something goes for alot more on ebay though

but some stores just end up with back stock that for what ever reason in that area never sells so they jsut drop it to dirt cheap to make room for the new stuff
