i figured it out, i kept skipping over a section of the town, and once i got in there i got a cutscene.

Just started playing this game, really enjoying it so far. Although the copy I bought used has several scratches and some of the time it kinda skips along or slows down hardcore. I hope thats just because of the scratches.

those are features of the game unfortunately

It seems to really only happen in the beginning sequences, I haven't really noticed it moving on, but that still is disappointing.

The pop up textures in this game are absolutely fucking rediculous. I wouldn't even mind waiting a little longer through the (already long) load times if the fucking textures were in place when the cutscene or whatever else started. Wow. I mean it's like every freaking time. Did they test this game before they released it?
Also BOOOOOO to only being able to take one set of items from the winning loot per battle/quests. WTF is that?
And five hours in before my first 10 pt achievement. GAY.
