I liked the commercial. It's Eazy-E, how could you not?
Been playing this the last few days and I love it. It kicks the shit out of GTAIV in fun IMO. Yeah, GTAIV is more polished with better graphics and a more mature story, but honestly I got fucking bored with the game after a while. The missions were boring, frustrating at times and the vehicles controlled like shit.
SR2 has a checkpoint system in the missions (THANK GOD, WTF was wrong with Rockstar that they didn't use that?), the vehicles are more arcadey and fun (although someone please explain to Volition that R trigger is gas, not A), and the side missions are hilariously entertaining (fuzz and heli assault make me very happy, although I love the others as well).
I think I may actually end up finishing this one, which is pretty rare for me to do with a sandbox game.

I thought that as well until I realized that it works better the way it is because it allows you to shoot while driving. Having a different shoot button when you get in a car would be a little confusing.

Christ, how long have you been playing games? It's called an options screen, and it's accessible both from the start menu and the pause menu.

I agree that they are fun as hell but they really fucked up the fun of Insurance Fraud from the first game. It was WAY more fun in SR1. Besides that, no complaints. SR2 is what a sandbox game should be.
