Is it me or does it take forever to earn new weapons? Also, whats the point of using the pistols? They seem pretty useless.

My Target had the game, but it was at regular price. Bastards.
Some pistols can penetrate well, giving you the ability to Double Down if a couple enemies get lined up.
Pistols may be better for going through certain parts of Mission 1 that are rife with hostages. When you're at the three door area in the Grand Villa, you should choose the "Wipe out enemy & gain control" room if using a shotgun since this room has ZERO hostages. The other two have plenty of hostages and are better suited to a pistol or MG.
The M4E shotgun really rakes in the Double Downs, but it's hella hard to do the 2 Body 1 Head combo with it since AFAIR limb hits don't count as body shots.
Finished in 2021: 8 games (PC: 4, PS4: 2, PS3: 1, X1: 1)

I know. I might get it anyway, I'm really itching for a light gun game right now. It just sucks ass that I can't find the Nyko Perfect Shot anywhere, but I might pick up a Zapper anyway since it's only $20. Link's Crossbow Training is probably worth that by itself.
I ordered a Nyko Perfect Shot from Ebay (seems like the only place that you can get it right now). Without the peripheral, it feels too much like playing a gun game with a mouse (which it is).
KOF: Have you been playing with the Zapper or regular Wiimote?
You have to let us know how well the Perfect Shot works, although I would imagine that you can't go wrong with it, if the IGN review is to be believed.
