Get the XBCD 360 drivers: http://www.matt-land.com/xbcd/

These drivers, unlike the MS ones, do not suck. They allow such basic functions as changing button mappings. I have the 360 dpad mapped to x/y +/- directional controls instead of the hat switch that the official drivers map it to.

Those drivers don't support the wireless dongle, do they?
