Means that instead of going for #1 in my division later like I wanted to, I'm going to have to switch races. Thanks Blizz!

Balancing is kinda what the beta is for....

And completely killing one race isn't the way to do it. ZvZ was dumb because of the Roach but I didn't care since my fundamentals were better than the vast majority, and I lost a grand total of one ZvZ in ladder as a result. So the Zerg nerfs don't bother me for that matchup. But well, Thors used to one-shot Hydras with +1 weapons; now they do it base. And build time was decreased, AND last patch made them slaughter Mutas. The only thing a Zerg could do lategame against a mech Terran was make Roaches but everything is better against them now. Sounds pretty good right? Oh, and then there's the fact that it was difficult before to hold off either a 4 warpgate zeal/sent or immortal timing attack ZvP. Now Immortals 3-shot roaches without +1 (and zeals take two fewer hits to kill a roach).

Seeing as Zerg has 3 fewer combat units than Terran or Protoss, I'd hoped for new units to add diversity to the Zerg army. Instead, the two backbone units are nerfed to death. Sounds GREAT!

Oh well, at least they got the Void Ray buff and Marauder nerfs right.

Why would you get upset over Beta changes? Here's some news for you, there will be even more changes throughout the beta.

Who's getting upset? I'm just doing the logical thing and switching to a race that can actually win outside of mirror matches. It's just dumb to completely nerf one race to the ground without giving them anything back.

You're right. They should have balanced the game before it was in beta.

It's honestly very balanced for being a beta. At the start of beta the only really terrible thing was PvP warpgates but eh.
