Any rationally minded person is fully aware of how their thoughts deviate from the status quo and established norms. Conventional wisdom says that God is a mere construct of mankind's insecurity about the unknown and the end result of a desire to connect with something greater than himself. God, wether we are talking about a magic man in the sky or fairy people, is the excuse man uses to conjure up religion as compensation for his own shortcomings.

Then you get someone like me who comes along and says "Fuck religion, I know God personally. I talk to Him everyday." and honestly believes it. That kind of conviction requires a measured degree of insanity and possibly a touch of psychosis. Some might call it faith, some may call it delusion, a denial of reality. It is all insanity.

To the world:

Fuck your mundane existance filled with meaningless repetition masquerading as purpose. Fuck your empty, meandering, flavor of the week philosiphies trying to pass off as wisdom. Fuck you and your humanistic, moral relativism masquerading as enlightenment.

You will run to and fro learning much and creating many things only to wonder in the twilight of your years what it was all for. You will fill your days with strong drink, decadence and gluttonous excess in an effort to fill your empty soul only to look back in the eve of your life and see years wasted.

If that's what it means to be sane, well then fuck you. I'd rather be crazy.

And fuck you. I mean I have no problem with your religion giving you some sense of conviction and purpose, but if you think you have a monopoly on that, you can go fuck yourself.

The long road is harder. Faith offers easy (or easier) answers and for some that's fine. I find the long road more satisfying, though.

Some kids are only good if their parents spank them. Some have no problem behaving on their own. Some of us don't need the structure of religion and the bait of a hereafter to do what's right. And the answers you find yourself are the most satisfying of all.
