Thread: An artist... or an ape?

  1. An artist... or an ape?

    No gnus is good gnus.

  2. Me too.

I bet we're all gonna get the same painting wrong.

You gotta give props to that ape.

  3. Just took it. 100%.

  4. Yeah, I missed the first one, which was the one that confused me the most. All the others were pretty obvious.

Still, this just proved what talentless, stupid bullshit most abstract art is.

  8. I would have got 100%, but I got up in my head with # 4. My instinct was artist, but Klonoa's comment made me think it was a red herring.

The ones by apes look very similar.

Finally, hard evidence that aside from knowledge of symbols Pollack is on par with an ape in terms of talent!

No, it didn't. If anything, I think good abstract art is more difficult than realistic stuff. It's design stripped down to its purest elements without the crutch of representation.

I got 100%. Same in the pollack one and the true art or fake art one (though some of those were garbage, but I recognized them). In any event, Point not taken.

  10. I missed the first one, but in retrospect it's easy to tell for all of them because the human paintings all have better composition and take up the full canvas.
