I think maybe since he's ripped. But in most rolls Gylennhaal has been in he's usually a pretty meek-style character. I think he plays over-his-head quite well. We'll see. If the Prince ends up being a middle eastern bad ass I'm willing to live with it if a great movie comes out of it. I'm not getting all religious with the source material or anything.

God you're so feisty lately. I played the PC games, Sands of Time, and a little bit of the next two (but they sucked).

I don't care who the writer is...it's not like there's that much to the character to start with, so I'm sure Mechner will write whatever Disney wants for that big ol' bag-of-cash.

I just feel like there's something subtle about the character and story that distinguished it from similar stuff that seems to be missing so far. I'm still hopeful the trailer was designed for mass appeal.
