I read about halfway through. This is a good link, sir. I'll finish after my morning run while making my abs in the kitchen.
I'm thinking of trying something like this guide

That's a solid link—very thorough. And this thread is generally one of the most supportive ones on TNL regardless of who posts. Highly suggest doing something and asking for advice if you need it, Cheeks. This is a good place.
The biggest thing for me was getting in to a habit of making my lunches and working out 2-3 times a week with weights. Diet has made the biggest factor on me to the point where I took a week break from eating clean for my bday and noticed I felt like shit.

You know, like the average American feels every day of their lives. That momentary happiness you get when eating something shitty isn't worth feeling like shit the rest of the day.
I'm back on the eating plan and I'm already feeling better. And yeah, making your lunches as opposed to eating out makes a huge difference.

IP - that's a great link, i've seen it posted a lot. great all around guide.
Fucked my shoulder up and was off weights for a week, but I'm back now, thank god. Running is going a lot better - not perfect, but better. I feel like I'm moving at a snail's pace but I just keep working through it.
My work actually has a trained professional chef come in and make breakfast and lunches for us so the temptation is SO HARD not to just mow down. He's pretty good about balancing his shit but there's still Mac & Cheese and Lasagna days. The biggest diff I noticed was during workouts... I've been going up 5 lbs a workout since i began. Last week I was chugging through my entire set of squats. This week I breezed through even though it was more weight.
I had a handful of peanut M&Ms ON my birthday and within 10 minutes I was feeling bloated exactly like you said.

12:30ish I eat my meal of 2 chicken thighs, 1/4 cup quinoa, lentils, black beans, and roasted veggies (zuccini, mushrooms, bell peppers, broccoli, tomatoes and celery/carrots)
At 2 I have fruit and yogurt/granola
At 3:15ish I go for a non-fat latte and eat some cold cuts or low-sodium cottage cheese
At 4:30-5 I have turkey and chicken meatballs with mustard
Then at 6-7:30 I workout when I get home. I might have a banana or cup of coffee before I workout if I'm hungry
After workout I eat a pretty big spinach salad with balsamic vinaigrette dressing w/ 3 eggs in it, feta cheese, a pinch of nuts and a bunch of veggies .
I've been told I should eat about 2500-2600 calories to max myself out but I don't measure to the calorie. Just approximately.
I drink a lot of water throughout all of this and I also naturally drink about 4 cups of coffee a day which isn't good for me but eh fuck it.

Must be nice. I have to run 12+ miles a week and lift 6+ hours a week and eat only veggies and protein just to stay fat.
