I recently had a gal who was a trainer at a crossfit gym come by my place.
I told her Im very strict on form and specifically said "Im not down with the kipping business". So she gets up on the bar and first pullup, bam, kip-monster. Kept riding her about form, thats now how we do it here, etc, etc. She was ended up getting I think one clean chin up, no kicking, but that was all she had juice for. Said how she "normally got double digits"... :/
She also had reaaally bad kettlebell swing form. So I took her aside to work on it, and she insisted "the weight is too light, thats why my form is all wrong.. let me go heavier to fix it!" Noped that right away too.
Anyway - just saw Josh's gif and thought I'd share.
Nothing too exciting for me otherwise! Lots of bodyweight stuff. Handstands are progressing nicely. Playing with one arm stuff and freestanding handstand pushups lately.
It took me like 8 months of consistently working out to be able to do a set of 10 chin-ups.
