i don't know... i haven't played through MS4... but i did play through all of MS3, and i found MS1&2 to be much better... so, i'm guessing MS4 isn't much better than MS3... so... erm... i'd buy an XBox if i was in this position...

Look at it this way, XBOX will be around for a while and will only lower in price. With MS4, it may become hard to find later, and will almost surely raise in price at one point. So, if you want both, I'd say keep MS4 and get a XBOX later. While you may find it a better idea to snag the xbox now(As you get more games, a new system), in the long run I feel it would be better to hold onto Ms4 and pick up an Xbox down the road. In the end, that is up to you. Good luck on whatever you decide!

Go with the Xbox, maybe MS4 is great but a console and a tons of great games will give you much fun that just one game

Let's see.... do you keep the ultra limited fourth installment of the series that is home to the most valuable AES game of all and will continue to appreciate as an investment for the rest of your god given life, or do you cast it aside for a mass market system and a couple of random games(good or no) that will be worth next to nothing the second they leave EB? Which do you think you'll have an easier time finding in a year? Which could concievably pay for your kid's tuition in twenty?

I say sell it and go for the Xbox. It's a great system with plenty of great games, a lot of which are better than MS4.
