hmm... what happened to my $300?

Apologies, it would seem that NCS have managed to offload their Metal Slug 3 AES copies (possibly to other retailers, no way will they have sold 500 when on the week of its' release they were pissed at the amount of cancellations) and Neo.com have sold 270/500. By the time MS4 on AES is scarce, the MVS carts will be dirt cheap anyway.

i think i have the usa version. i specifically asked them not to ship it, when i made my preorder, if it wasn't the usa version. plus, the box text and in-game text are in english.

Until our friends at BrezzaSoft decide to re-release this like they did with MS3 of course. If MS4 stays to one shipment then you can be pretty sure the price will rise in the future.

Personally I wouldn't have forgot spending $300 onto something. (Imagine that happening frequently, I'd be broke in no time init.)
I'd say hold on to it for a while, perhaps check the game out, you might like it even.

Well.... imho, paying that much for a game is pretty whack, unless you're a big collector. In my head, it's about as stupid as paying like 300 bucks for Dragonball Gt Final Bout... *cough*.

Yeah, get the Xbox... cause Morrowind is the shit. =D

paying $300 for dragonball gt final bout and paying $300 for metal slug 4 are two different things, in my opinion.

anyway, yeah, i have the american version, and i did pop it in to try it out. i have to say it's one incredible game. i haven't played metal slug 3 enough, so i can't compare it to that, but i can say that i think it's better than 1, 2, and x. trevor is my new favorite character, and the john woo style dual machine guns is the coolest weapon.

i'm most likely going to keep it, so i guess morrowind and the xbox is going to have to wait a little longer.

if anyone has any questions on the game, feel free to ask.
