You know, I liked Spiderman 3....but I have a feeling that a LOT was cut out of it and we will see more of it when the DVD comes out. More Venom, More Sandman, etc.

I refuse to believe that the same director / writers that wrote the previous movies would put something that seemed a bit rushed....(although it was well done)

Well, they gave him his own cartoon a few years ago, but that's far from the same level of relevance as the female lead in a primetime network drama that's lasted six seasons and counting. (Not to mention, the less said about that cartoon, the better.)

as for villains, lizard and a non gay kraven is what i would like. kraven could even be hunting conners, so instead of a villain team up, it could be more of a free for all.

Dammit, that was my idea almost 3 years ago!

From the classic "Spider-Man 2 Thread"

I like the idea of the Lizard and Kraven the Hunter.

Doc Connors becomes the Lizard, Peter tries to help him but can't, and then Kraven the Hunter decides to hunt down what is perceived to be the most dangerous beast alive. Spider-man gets in his way, causing him to fail, and captures the Lizard himself. Kraven then decides to then hunt the Spider-man and discovers Peter's identity in the process. Maybe throw in Puma as an earlier prey of Kraven, to see him in action (Peter watches the hunt on commercially-sold DVDs of Kraven's exploits).

Also, the increased inclusion of Doc Conners allows Gwen Stacy to stay in the story, as she's also a student in the class. I'd keep Capt. Stacy alive until Spider-man 5, probably bringing back a pissed off and more experienced Venom. Gwen Stacy hates Spider-man afterwards until she discovers his secret identity in Spider-man 6, and either she lives or dies afterwards.

Not sure what to do with Mary Jane though, although I'd love for a final battle where she wasn't a screaming damsel in distress: that's three movies we've seen that, now. Actually, now that I think about it, she could purposefully infiltrate Kraven's show/hunt to find out information about the Lizard and Kraven for Peter. Maybe Kraven falls for her and learns he is duped when he sees MJ kissing Peter/Spider-man, only fueling his anger towards Spider-man.

This would work even better.

The Ultimate Clone saga kinda sucked. It just gave an excuse for all this weird bullshit to happen. It could've been handled way better. But the SHIELD rape was pretty cool.

Look, people walk in to that movie see nipples on armor and automatically think things have gone to shit. But the armour already resembles muscles and the human form. Are nipples not apart of the human body? I say they probably are indeed apart of the human body. So therefore in order to get that extra level of hyper realism all movie-goers demand of their movies they put them on the suit in a bold groundbreaking move.

I remember seeing that movie in theatres and saying to myself that all movies from this point forward are going to be a letdown. And to this day truer words have never been spoken.
