    That one entered common lexicon for a while back in the early 50's because of superman, but quickly fell out of use.

    Until that writer is replaced. And then that writer is replaced. If the studio still isn't happy, the original writer might get hired again to rewrite something three times removed from what he started. The studio controls everything (there are very few truly powerful directors).
