  1. Not sure, but I don't think they get destroyed.

  2. I think they are like Dragon Balls (fuck). I think what usually happens is somebody fucks around, 9 times out of 10 it's Thanos. A hero eventually snags the gauntlet because Thanos is DUMB, wishes to reverse all of the shit and they crumble and reappear somewhere else.

  4. Two follow up questions. One serious, one even more serious.

    1) What if like one dude took the stones to some backwater place without telling anyone else or documenting it in any way, did it without being tracked, dug a bunch of holes on the planet, buried them, then pulled the self-destruct lever on his ship once he was a good distance from the planet? Do they give off a "signature" that would be obvious ("Holy crap there's a lot of Infinitychlorians there!") or would someone be able to figure out what the dude did?

    2) Could Howard the Duck conceivably wield the Gauntlet? (There may be follow ups to this.)

    *EDIT* I'm not sure if things have changed, but in the original Thanos Quest, Thanos was able to track down the individual stones only because he knew exactly who was in possession of each one, not because he was able to sense/scan/whatever the location of the stones themselves.

    Oh, I didn't mean that to sound as if he knows of the GotG one, just that he knows the stones exist/is aware more are popping up lately. Then I used the (Nova?) thing from GotG as an example of protecting it.

    I know I'm applying undue rationality to a comic book story, though, so let's not worry on it any further.

    I know they showed the Tesseract, the red one (from Thor movies?), the one in the Vision, and then the purple one but I didn't realize what that meant in relation to his knowledge of it.

    So he does know about the GotG one, then? How many are there? 6?

  10. Asgardians have contact with the Kree (as seen in this season's Agents of Shield) and with the Nova Corps, who would have noticed what happened in Guardians of the Galaxy, and Thor is a Prince of Asgard.

    Yes there are 6.
