So the Hot Toys Commando figure is finally out. I'm trying so hard to resist...

There is so much cool Star Wars stuff coming, but I think the Millennium Falcon cockpit bed might be the best (abut halfway down the page).

Sphero has created a remote control BB-8 that can do all sorts of things once it's paired with your phone. The little fella is filled with technology and can move, talk and go out on patrol. But most exciting of all, you can record a hologram message onto your phone, transmit that to the droid, and then BB-8 can project it!

If that thing is within even a rationalized level of reasonable price, it's mine.

There was no way that design was getting approved for a movie without them knowing full well they could make a working toy out of it.

Price tag.... solid $150 I'm betting. The movement of the head looks kinda cheap and they're off the shelf parts for that Sphero toy, so nothing that much more sophisticated...
