And they are up to Street Fighter 4 in Japan. My friend played it and he said its cool cause Ryu and Ken use machine guns and have Tanks in their finishing moves.

This looks better than I thought. Konami and WFT had better not rape it with some sort of mandatory stylus gimmick however. Namco didn't do it to Mr. Driller Drill Spirits, thank God.

I am so glad to see this series resurrected it was my favorite back in the day. Here's hoping Konami sticks with 2d graphics and the branching paths from Contra Hard Corps the best game in the series.

I don't like the action occupying both screens. I'd rather they do it Castlevania-style.

Word is, from a person whose opinion I'd trust, that Contra 4 is shaping up nicely despite it US origin. It might be worth a tiny bit of optimism.
