I actually got a stack of old comics from an uncle years ago and a few of them were Invaders comics. They weren't horrible...I think. But if they were, hopefully they won't suck in the movie.

But whatever. Just remake Saving Private Ryan and replace Tom Hanks with Cap. Automatic good movie.

The comics I read were some old 70's Jack Kirby issues. Pretty solid with the usual Kirby creativity/wackiness.

So I've seen this article at a few places (not just IGN which is where I am pulling this from) and it sounds like they might have narrowed down the actors to about 7 who have made screen test deals

It also goes on to say two actors that are being considered but have scheduling conflicts are Robert Buckley from One Tree Hill and Jensen Ackles from Supernatural.
