Also: This thread should be about how much shit sonic sucks. It wasn't even that good back in the day. Mario's were much better games - but Sonic sold loads cause it was "cool". Fuck Sonic.

Why do people use sales to justify these companies' awful decisions? Are you a gamer or a shareholder? Speaking harshly about these kind of announcements is not an admission of ignorance by the disgruntled --I'm quite sure Yoshi, dog$, Joust, and the rest fully understand the economics of the situation, as do I.

The question is not "What would I have my army of game-making slaves do to please me." The market matters, like it or not. Konami doesn't like you that much. Unless you feed their families, they don't give a shit.
