If we're going entirely by "best system for the job" logic then handhelds have more of a place than consoles, because a good PC can do everything a console can do and more, handhelds fill the "I need to play something on the bus" niche, and consoles... well, they're just outpaced in every possible way by PCs.

Of course, there's not an infinite supply of funding out there, and there's always going to be a market for "lesser" platforms whatever that may be. If we want the best platforms possible for Contra, Castlevania, Dragon Quest and whatever else people are talking about here, that would be the PC from a purely technical perspective... so why are people asking for 360 and PS3 versions instead?

Yeah, but who cares about a crap game that sells well? This is stupid anyway; Bioware games sell. What irks me about this is that Bioware would have to use a license like this to sell a game on the DS. Nintendo systems are the worst for judging quality by sales.

Also: This thread should be about how much shit sonic sucks. It wasn't even that good back in the day. Mario's were much better games - but Sonic sold loads cause it was "cool". Fuck Sonic.
